During the 16th Century, writing was seen as a common man's purview and not appropriate for a nobleman. Yet given the above, how could William Shakespeare be the actual writer of the plays and sonnets that appear under his name? That is the purpose of Shakespeare Authorship Mystery Day, a day to ponder the above.
